Consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Act No. 110/2019 Coll, on the processing of personal data, and on the occasion of participating in the consumer competition “Scan – Play – Win QUIZZ”, which is held as an accompanying program at the Power Conference 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”), I grant by checking the option “YES” in the online form of DataBrothers s. r.o., with registered office at Karla Engliše 3221/2, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, ID: 07080794, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 294333 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) and to the Power Conference 2024 partners listed below consent to the processing of the following personal data:

• name and surname,
• e-mail address,
• company name,
• elements of my physical or other identity identifiable from records provided or taken of my person, likeness and other manifestations of a personal nature, including photographs.

The aforementioned personal data will be processed for the marketing purposes of the organiser of the competition (DataBrothers s.r.o.) and for the marketing purposes of the Power Conference 2024 partners:

Marketing purposes means, in particular, the sending of commercial communications about the offer of goods and services, both online and offline.

This personal data will be processed until consent is withdrawn. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, including, for example, by sending an email to info@databrothers.cz or to the addresses listed for the individual Power Conference 2024 Partners or by using the link in the marketing communication email or directly in the newsletter sent.

I acknowledge that this consent is voluntary, I do not have to provide it and failure to provide it will have no consequences for me and will not affect my participation in the competition, i.e. I can participate in the competition even if I do not provide this consent.

The processing of personal data is carried out by the organizer, i.e. DataBrothers s.r.o., and the Power Conference 2023 Partners.

The processing of personal data may be carried out by other providers of processing software, services and applications, which are not currently used by the organiser for these purposes.

I acknowledge that I have the following rights under the law, which I can exercise at any time. These are the right (i) to access personal data, (ii) to have inaccurate or false personal data corrected and incomplete personal data completed, (iii) to have personal data erased if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed or if it is found that it has been unlawfully processed, (iv) to restrict the processing of personal data; (v) to data portability; and (vi) the right to object, after which the processing of personal data will be terminated, unless it is demonstrated that there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests or rights and freedoms of the data subject, in particular where the ground is the possible exercise of legal claims. I may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
